Analytical QC Chemist – 12-Month Contract

Scope of the Role & Responsibilities

This position sits within the QA/QC/Manufacturing function and reports directly to the QC Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Performing routine quality control testing to support manufacturing and development activities

Conducting batch record review and maintaining GMP documentation

Coordinating sample submissions and data flow with external laboratories

Ensuring compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards

Assisting with method troubleshooting and laboratory investigations

Working collaboratively across QC, QA, and R&D teams within a fast-paced, highly technical environment

Experience Required

3–5 years’ experience in a Quality Control or Analytical Chemistry role

Strong understanding of GMP environments and regulated laboratory practices

Experience working with complex formulations, particularly polymer-based products, is highly desirable

Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Qualifications Needed

Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline

Training or certifications in GMP, quality systems, or analytical method validation would be advantageous
