My client is looking to hire a Payroll Officer for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover a maternity leave. Duties will be broad across payroll and billing and will incude:

• Managing end to end payroll processing and supporting payroll activities across all Group entities.
• Ensuring that all obligations to 3rd parties are correctly calculated.
• Liaising with customers to address invoicing and payroll issues.
• Ensuring invoices are generated and sent out accurately and on time.
• Matching payroll records with invoicing data to ensure accuracy and correct billing.
• Monitoring billing cycles and coordinating schedules and supporting the implementation of billing automation initiatives.
• Preparing payroll variance reports for Group entities and streamlining the rolling forecast report.
• Working closely with the Team leader on system and process implementation for new clients and processes.
• Asist with year-end payroll reporting for the Group.
• Provide input into special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.

You will have:

• 2-4 years experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Knowledge of the Australian payroll tax legislation.
• Excellent data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Suite
• Experience with MS Business Central preferred (not essential).
• Well-organized and self-motivated with an ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
