HR Manager – 12-Month Contract | Global Company | option of Sydney ,Melbourne and Perth (Hybrid)

We are partnering with a global organization to recruit an experienced HR Manager for a 12-month contract role. There is potential for transition into a longer-term HR position within the business after the contract ends.

About the Role

This role supports HR operations for a Japanese company that was recently acquired. You will be responsible for HR system integration and providing remote support from Australia, working closely with both Australian and Japanese stakeholders to align HR practices and processes across regions.

Key Details:

Position: HR Manager (12-month contract)

Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Perth (2 days WFH)

Salary: $100K–$150K base + super -depending on your experience

Visa Requirement: Valid visa with at least 6 months of full-time work rights remaining

Minimum Requirements:

Native-level Japanese language proficiency

Solid understanding of Japanese HR practices, either through direct HR experience in Japan or working with Japanese companies

Strong HR generalist or project experience

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and manage cross-border collaboration

Japanese business culture knowledge is highly preferred
