Are you a seasoned transport professional ready to take charge of a small but dynamically growing fleet? We’re looking for a Transport Manager to lead our logistics operations, specializing in wharf cartage, FCL delivery, warehouse 3PL unpack, and LCL deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day transport operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and driver coordination.

Oversee FCL and LCL deliveries, wharf cartage, and 3PL warehouse activities (including unpack and distribution).

Ensure full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR regulations.

Maintain high standards of vehicle and driver safety, service delivery, and customer communication.

Work closely with warehouse and admin teams to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics.

Monitor KPIs and identify areas for operational improvement.

Coordinate container movements, VBS bookings, and wharf communication.

Staff Management, includes hiring staff for all positions

Requirements:

Proven experience in transport management, preferably in wharf cartage and container logistics.

Strong understanding of the NSW freight and logistics landscape.

Familiarity with FCL, LCL, and 3PL unpacking processes.

Sound knowledge of CoR and other regulatory requirements.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.

Forklift licence and/or MC licence is advantageous but not essential.
