Casual position now available at reputable local fire protection company providing regular flexible hours, practical onsite training and access to fully serviced motor vehicle.

As a fire service technician at The Extinguisher Guy, you will work as part of a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced team to supply, install and maintain fire protection equipment for clients and perform compliance inspections of fire extinguishers, hose reels, sprinkler systems, hydrants and exit and emergency lighting within commercial and residential buildings across the Illawarra, Sydney, NSW South Coast and Southern Highlands.

Ideal candidates are required to have the following:

Valid Australian driver’s licence;

Highly developed interpersonal skills with dedication to excellent customer service and good verbal and written communication;

Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and as part of a team;

Good time management skills;

Strong attention to detail and effective problem solving skills;

Professional attitude and personal presentation.

Experience and / or training in the industry is very desirable but not mandatory.

This is a casual position suitable for an individual seeking regular work for up to 3 days a week. Part-time or full-time position may be negotiable in the future.
