Trainee Fire Protection Technician (training provided in all equipment types)

The Role:

This is a 2 year Trainee Fire Alarm Technician role that migrates to a qualified Fire Technician at completion. You will be servicing sites across Sydney.

Duties you will be responsible for:

Carry out Fire service repairs and checks plus assist with Alarm System and Occupant Warning System installations and upgrades.

Carry out repair jobs

Deliver jobs on time, on budget, and installed right the first time

Liaise with clients directly

Use our Electronic Job system

Travel and work at different sites all over Greater Sydney and occasionally Central Coast

Quotations as required

Assist our other service installers, trainees and service technicians

Working autonomously and within the team

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 4 years work experience in building industry or service technician type work (No school leavers please)

Trade/Assistant trade background, service technician background or experience well regarded

Current drivers license

Construction industry white card

Excellent English and customer service skills

Australian Citizen

Advantageous:

Previous trade or building background

Experience in the Fire Service Industry or Volunteer Fire Fighter

Customer service experience
