You will be responsible for:

* Coordinating with production manager to make production plans;

* Carrying out installation of new machinery and designing processes accordingly;

* Optimising processes with modifications in operations;

* Reviewing continuous performance of daily operations in terms of quality assurance;

* Carrying out maintenance of machinery, maintaining stocks of machinery parts and coordinating with suppliers;

* Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives;

* Carrying out audits;

* Maintaining the site's components and equipment and carrying out process inspections, calibration and preventative maintenance programs;

* Studying and maintaining detailed reports and statements of quality assurance, quality control and process operational activities;

* Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles;

You will have:

* Qualifications in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or related field;

* Awareness of food and safety standards;

* Understanding of or willing to learn HACCP program;

* Experience in document review (e.g. production and monitoring records)

* Implementing auditor's principles ISO19011;

* Must have good understanding of FSANZ;

* Attention to detail;

* Effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders;

* Forklift licence advantageous;

* Minimum of 1 year work experience required;
