Part-Time Finance Professional (CA/CPA) – 2-Year Contract

Salary: $800 $900 per day + super (Pro Rata $160k + super)
Work Type: Part-Time (2 days per month)

Are you an experienced CA or CPA looking for a flexible, high-impact role in the public sector? We are currently seeking a qualified finance professional to join a part-time basis for a 2-year contract.

About the Role: This unique opportunity involves working closely with the finance team to support monthly financial reporting and year-end processes. You'll be responsible for reviewing financials, asking the right questions, and ensuring everything is ready for sign-off—playing a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review monthly financial reports prior to final sign-off
  
  
• Provide insights and challenge financial assumptions where necessary
  
  
• Assist with year-end financial statement review and ensure compliance with NSW Treasury Policy
  
  

About You:

• CA or CPA qualified
  
  
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  
  
• Prior experience in the public sector is highly regarded
  
  
• Able to commit to 2 days per month over the 2-year term
