Senior Financial Accountant

Location: Sydney CBD + WFH Flexibility
Salary: Grade 9/10 (commensurate with experience)
Contract: 6 Months | Start: ASAP

About the Role: End to end Financial Accounting

• Leading the month-end close process
  
  
• Preparing financial statements in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
  
  
• Performing and reviewing general ledger reconciliations
  
  
• Supporting audit processes and compliance activities
  
  

To be successful, you will have:

• 2–3+ years of recent experience in financial accounting
  
  
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, PRIME, and advanced Excel
  
  
• Bonus: Experience using TM1 (not essential but highly regarded)
  
  
• Ideally, experience working in the public sector or a large, complex organisation
  
  
• A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines
