We are looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor who takes pride in delivering a great all-round experience to guests.
Come to work in the beautiful setting of the Walkabout Creek Function Centre.
This position is responsible for the seamless running of all our events and delivering the highest standards of service.

About the Role:
• Manage a diverse range of events.
• Weekend work required, rotating flexible roster.
• Foster a positive environment which provides friendly service for customers and exceeds customer expectations.
• Able to perform all POS duties.
• Manages the operational coordination of events with the Venue & Events Manager, including room set ups, table settings and bar set ups etc
About You:
• Barista Experience preferred.
• Experience with developing, training and motivating a team.
• Builds collaborative relationships with staff members across departments throughout the site.
• Very strong attention to detail.
• Displays professional behaviour and integrity.
• You are a hands-on person that leads by example.
• Current valid Australian Driver’s License
• Current RSA.
Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a catering or a hospitality background – events catering experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work on a diverse schedule - weekends or evenings as required.
• Experience in managing weddings & events highly considered.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to resolve client queries and complaints professionally.
• Ability to provide feedback to and coach and develop staff.
• Strong, creative problem-solving skills – great at taking things head-on and taking control of challenges.
• Impeccable professional grooming and presentation.
• Exceptional service and professionalism – especially when dealing with clients.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced front of house environment.
• Proven ability to manage teams.
