About The Role

This role is critical to the day-to-day efficiency of our business. Consequently, you will report directly to and work very closely with our experienced management team. The primary responsibility of the scheduler is to plan and organize our resources in the most efficient way possible to meet and exceed the needs of our valued customers. This is achieved by undertaking the following activities.

• Communicating with customers to discuss job specific issues and arrange suitable booking times.

• Reading and understanding job quotations to ensure the right products are ordered and organised to be on site at the required time.

• Issuing purchase orders and work orders to suppliers/sub-contractors to ensure we have the right materials and people in the right place at the right time every time.

• Managing the schedule of our technical team and being able to allocate jobs to them which fit their individual schedules and skills sets.

• Create and maintain job schedules using our job management system.

• Communicating with the salespeople, technicians, suppliers, sub-contractors and customers about job alterations, issues and problems.

• Invoice all jobs upon completion

• Monitor job progress and completions to ensure customer expectations are being maintained.

• Review job reports and forward to customers

• Monitor and action the incoming service requests.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following tricks in your kitbag;

• Be able to identify and understand job specific customer requirements.

• Super organized, a communication guru and the words best problem solver!!!!

• Experience as a planning & scheduling in a trade environment would be advantageous.

• Trade qualifications and experience in the air conditioning industry would be great.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Well organized and able to multitask at speed.

• Embrace problems and love finding solutions.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Solid computing skills (we would love it if you have used Simpro/Service Titan M8 but understand that you may need to learn that system).

• Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision whilst taking accountability for your outcomes.
