About Us:
We are a privately-owned, boutique winery located in the Margaret River Wine Region. Whilst we are newcomers to the Western Australian wine scene, we have already made a significant impact. Our wines have won over 15 awards across various wine shows, including a trophy at the 2024 WA Wine Show for our 2023 Malbec. We are dedicated to producing exceptional wines that reflect the distinct terroir of the site and reflect a sense of place. Our focus is on the local WA market, with the aim to expand our reach by having our wines stocked in venues and bottleshops across Western Australia and, ultimately, nationwide.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Wine Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our brand within the Australian market. This role will focus on getting our wines stocked in venues & bottleshops initially targeting Western Australia, with plans for national expansion. The successful candidate will play a key role in building relationships with distributors and customers, increasing our brand presence, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Market Development: Actively represent our winery to venues, restaurants, cafes, and bottleshops within WA, with the goal of securing stock placements and driving sales
Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with new clients, ensuring they are well-informed about our wines, our brand, and our story.
Brand Promotion: Assist with the promotion of our wines through tastings & events. Share the story of our winery, our commitment to quality, and our vision for the future.
Requirements:
· A genuine passion for wine, with a particular interest in building brand presence and growing sales in the Australian market.
· Knowledge of the Western Australian wine industry and the broader Australian wine market is essential
· Previous experience in wine sales or a related field is preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with a diverse range of clients
· Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing your own sales territory and pipeline
· Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
· A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
