ResourcePro is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Leads (Project Managers) to support multidisciplinary capital works projects across remote mining operations in Queensland and the Northern Territory. This is a contract-based FIFO role, with rosters offered on 4:3, 8:6 and 7:7 options. The position offers flights from Darwin, Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane with competitive remuneration.

About the Role

As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital projects in remote locations. These projects span across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.

You will play a vital leadership role in delivering high-impact projects that contribute to operational excellence and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project delivery in compliance with client, company, and contractual requirements

Define project scopes, manage budgets, estimate costs, and monitor schedule performance

Drive safety culture and reduce incidents through proactive field engagement and leadership

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders

Develop and review construction plans, schedules, and subcontractor engagements

Support contract and commercial teams as required across multiple projects and locations

Develop high-performing project teams and oversee resourcing requirements

About You

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical preferred) or a Diploma in Project Management

Proven experience managing heavy industry projects, ideally in the resources or mining sector

Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in bid/tender preparation and evaluation

Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills across all project phases

High-level communication and presentation skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
