Project/Program Overview

Department of Health is switching pathology services provider for inpatients and outpatients of the North West Hospital.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the transition including:

· Coordinating the technical components such as system integration and testing.

· Reviewing and coordinating variations to the vendor contract to ensure required terms including cyber and SLAs are included.

· Keeping diverse stakeholders engaged and aligned.

· Working with the North West Pathology project team to implement the required ICT changes to integrate with the new pathology service provider.

Experience/Skills

Looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager who has/is:

· Expertise in managing complex Health ICT projects to achieve the required outcomes.

· Exceptional communicator with a demonstrable capability in managing stakeholder expectations, resolving conflicts, and driving consensus among stakeholders at all organisational levels (including executive levels).

· Expertise in proactively managing project risks, implementing robust mitigation strategies, and ensuring project resilience and success.

· Significant vendor management skills & experience, driving vendor performance, deliverables, and outcomes.

Duties/Activities

The Senior Project Manager will:

· Effectively manage the delivery of the project.

· Lead stakeholder management, managing diverse stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.

· Expertly manage project risks, proactively identifying potential disruptions and implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

· Strategically manage vendor relationships, optimising contract terms.
