The Opportunity
We’re seeking a capable and motivated Accounts & Admin Assistant to step into a part-time maternity leave contract, starting as soon as possible. You’ll have the freedom to work your hours across 3–5 days per week, with flexibility around your daily schedule. Experience with Xero is essential, and while much of the role can be done remotely, the ability to attend the Osborne Park office when needed is required.
About the Role
You’ll support finance and administrative functions, including accounts receivable, member administration, travel bookings, and general team assistance. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you’ll work closely with a supportive team in a detail-focused role that requires autonomy and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bank statements, allocate receipts/payments, and complete reconciliations
- Upload invoices and follow up on payments
- Maintain accounts receivable reports and manage member data
- Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Support admin tasks and order supplies
- Book travel for the CEO, staff, and stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- At least one year of relevant experience in an accounts or admin role
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and ability to meet deadlines
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge and excellent numeracy skills
- Proficient in data entry, invoice administration, and using Xero
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Familiarity with Zendesk for customer support and issue tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Quick learner, results-driven, and able to maintain confidentiality
