The Company

We’re currently partnering with a well-established Australian business that is a leading supplier industrial products, who are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their close-knit team based in Laverton.

This is a hands-on and autonomous role where you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end accounting function, supporting the Director with accurate financial reporting and insights to help drive the business forward.

The Role

This full-time position is ideal for an experienced Accountant to join a leading business in it's sector. The successful applicant will bring with them several years of accounting experience, enabling them to seamlessly tackle various financial tasks, including payroll and office admin.

Your responsibilities will include:

Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record management

Payroll processing and employee entitlements

Managing accounts payable and receivable

Handling supplier and customer payments

Preparing monthly P&L, BAS and compliance reports

Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management

Reconciling accounts and bank statements

Providing financial analysis and reporting to the Director

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

At least 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

CA or CPA qualification (preferred but not essential)

Solid understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements

Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
