Treehouse Childcare and Early Learning Centre is a custom-built establishment that delivers exceptional childcare services from six weeks old to the start of school. Treehouse Childcare and Early Learning Centre maintain regular operating hours for 52 weeks yearly to offer ongoing family assistance.
Multiple spacious areas inside the facility contain well-equipped playrooms promoting exploration and creativity
Children show comfort and accessibility to facilities, including bathrooms that welcome trained toilet users and younger children

About the Role:
An Assistant Centre Director in a childcare and early learning centre is a crucial leadership role that supports the Centre Director in managing daily operations, ensuring quality programs, and fostering a positive learning environment. They act as a key point of contact for staff, families, and children, often taking on leadership responsibilities in the Director's absence.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Supporting the Centre Director: Assisting with daily operations, administrative tasks, and overall management of the centre
Leading and Mentoring Educators: Providing guidance, support, and professional development to educators
Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and maintaining high-quality programs and practices
Family and Community Engagement: Building strong relationships with families and the community, addressing their needs and concerns
Operational Management: Assisting with various administrative tasks like rostering, payroll, and payments
Staff Supervision and Support: Supervising staff, addressing their needs, and providing a supportive and positive work environment
In the Director's Absence: Taking on leadership responsibilities when the Director is unavailable
Childcare Practices: Ensuring that childcare practices meet the highest standards and align with early childhood education principles
Developing Programs: Contributing to the development of age-appropriate and stimulating programs that support the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children
Essential Requirements:
· Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50121)
· Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not essential
· Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting
· Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Framework (NQF)
and the Reggio Emilia approach
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
· A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing exceptional care
