We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our team and drive business growth by providing technical support and innovative solutions to our clients. This role requires a strong blend of engineering expertise and commercial acumen to identify customer needs, scope technical projects, and develop tailored HDPE piping solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DELIVER:
Business Development & Customer Engagement
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales and business growth.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industries such as mining, civil infrastructure, water, and energy sectors.
Conduct site visits and customer meetings to assess technical requirements and provide suitable HDPE solutions.
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless project execution.
Technical Support & Project Scoping
Provide expert technical advice on HDPE piping applications, including material selection, design, and installation methods.
Assist customers with project specifications, compliance requirements, and engineering challenges.
Develop detailed project scopes, proposals, and cost estimates for HDPE piping solutions.
Offer troubleshooting and problem-solving support to customers on technical and installation issues.
Innovative Solutions & Product Development
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in HDPE piping.
Work with R&D and engineering teams to enhance product offerings and develop innovative solutions.
Provide feedback from customers to improve products and services, ensuring Acu-Tech remains at the forefront of the industry.
Training & Technical Presentations
Conduct product training and technical presentations for customers, distributors, and internal sales teams.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences.
To be successful in the role, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical, Civil, or a related field.
Experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering solutions for HDPE piping, plastics manufacturing, or a similar industry.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desired familiarity with HDPE Products and welding techniques (butt fusion, electrofusion, extrusion welding).
Strong technical knowledge of HDPE piping systems, including welding, fittings, and installation processes.
Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
Desired experience working in industries such as mining, water infrastructure, gas, or civil construction.
