About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Accommodation Manager who will be confident in stepping into a leadership role. The position is full-time and will support the hotels Accommodation Manager and team to drive further success in this award recognised venue.

Who we are looking for:

You will be a hands-on hospitality professional either continuing your leadership journey or building towards commencing a management career in accommodation. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded experience gained from working in an accommodation and hospitality environment and be ready to hit the ground running.

We would love if you have:

Previous experience in an accommodation management role

The ability to manage guest experience and relation matters to ensure the hotel provides high level customer service

Proven skill in working with hotel operating and reservation systems. Knowledge of RMS is highly desirable

The ability to foster a positive team environment including supervising and training staff

A good understanding of compliance related responsibilities (WH&S and other general compliance requirements)

Experience in varied elements and/or departments of accommodation operations

A hands-on approach to hotel management

Strong leadership and communication skills

An understanding of hotel market segments

Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster with some weekends required.
