We currently have two exciting opportunities to join and lead the teams at Cruizin Diner and Ampol North Deniliquin. Cruizin Diner is a 1950s American inspired themed Diner that is a unique experience complementing The Depot Historic Collection next door, and is part of the Purtill Group of companies, a dynamic organisation with a diverse range of business activities and opportunities.

Manager:

The Manager role is responsible for all aspects of site operation, presentation, administration, rostering and leadership of the combined Diner & Ampol North Deniliquin team, supported by Assistant Managers.

Assistant Manager:

The Assistant Manager will work on the shop floor alongside the team and assist the Site Manager with various tasks, including ordering, stock control, administration, first point of contact for staff and customer queries, and act as a backup for the Site Manager occasionally.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Ordering and stock control

Administrative tasks and reconciliations

Staff supervision and leadership

Handling customer enquiries

Retail merchandising, site presentation, and promotions

Personal Attributes:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication abilities

Highly organized with attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks

Customer-focused with a positive attitude

Experience in a supervisory role is not essential but highly desirable

Hours and Compensation:

Full-time, typically Monday to Friday with some flexibility

Occasional early/late shifts and weekend shifts may be required for training, special events, or to cover absences.

Base salary range approx. $69,000 – $76,000p.a. including on-call allowance, plus superannuation
