The Beach Road Hotel is a large scale iconic Hotel in the eastern suburbs, with a big focus on music, sport and entertainment.

We are looking for a Venue Operations Manager / 2IC to support the General Manager with daily operations of the Hotel.

This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational efficiency, and team performance while maintaining high standards, compliance and profitability. The role encompasses all aspects of the Hospitality industry from food service, TAB and gaming, marketing and events, live music and entertainment, large scale event days, stock-taking and beverage control and leadership.

What you will bring:

Minimum 2 years in a senior hospitality management role

Experience in liquor compliance and dealing with government stake holders

Excellent skills in POS and MS Office programs

Proven ability to lead and inspire a team with string communication skills

The ability to engage and build relationships and deliver memorable guest experiences

Have a professional manner and presentation

Have roster availability in line with business needs

Strong decision maker, able to handle challenged calmly and efficiently

Key responsibilities:

Beverage and stock control and reporting

Hands on leadership and fostering of the team, including supervision and mentoring

Driving sales to meet targets and budgets

Controlling operational costs

Compliance in both regulatory and group standards

You will be working with a well tenured team of fellow hospitality professionals, always delivering amazing entertaining experiences, sporting events, large scale hallmark calendar event days in a venue that encompasses all aspects of a Hotel with gaming, tab facilities, drive through bottle shop and accommodation.
