Part-Time Accounts Person (School Hours)

Location: Dandenong South

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Are you an experienced accounts professional looking for a long-term role that fits within school hours? We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Person to join our team in a flexible, part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Accounts payable processing

· Creating and managing purchase orders

· Data entry of billing for jobs

· Process and reconcile supplier invoices and statements

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

· Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies or queries

· Assist with bank reconciliations and payment processing

· Maintain and organize digital and paper filing systems for accounts documentation

· General administrative tasks as required

What We’re Looking For:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounts or a similar role

· Proficiency in Xero is essential

· Experience with DEXT is an advantage

· Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Ability to think outside the box and solve problems proactively

· Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
