Are you passionate about nutrition and creating meals children will love? Busy Bees at Crace is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Chef to join our high-quality early learning service. With 142 licensed places, our centre needs a dependable kitchen leader to fuel happy minds and healthy bodies.

About the Role

As our centre’s Chef, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and serving daily nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5

Planning weekly rotating menus aligned with dietary needs, cultural preferences, and seasonal produce

Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant kitchen, following HACCP and Busy Bees’ food safety protocols

Managing food ordering and kitchen inventory

Communicating with educators and families to support children’s dietary requirements

What You’ll Need

Certificate in Commercial Cookery or Food Handling (mandatory)

Experience in a childcare, aged care or other regulated kitchen environment preferred

Understanding of HACCP, allergy management, and safe food practices

Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check (ACT)

First Aid and CPR (preferred)

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
