Do you have a passion for food and a heart for children? Follyfoot Farm by Busy Bees is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to take ownership of our kitchen and prepare delicious, nutritious meals for children aged 0–5. Located on a beautiful rural property in Fountaindale, our centre provides a unique early learning environment surrounded by nature.

About the Role

As the centre’s Chef, you will:

Plan and prepare a rotating seasonal menu in line with dietary requirements and nutritional guidelines

Cook and serve fresh, nutritious meals and snacks daily for up to 106 children

Ensure kitchen compliance with HACCP, food safety standards, and allergy management protocols

Manage stock levels, food ordering and inventory control

Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe kitchen environment

Work closely with the Centre Director and educators to meet the needs of children and families

What You’ll Need

Certificate in Commercial Cookery or Food Handling (mandatory)

Experience working in childcare or other regulated settings preferred

Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergy management

Current WWCC (NSW) and First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)

Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills

A positive, collaborative attitude and passion for nutrition and children’s wellbeing
