We are looking for a passionate and organised Cook to join our team at Busy Bees at Tamworth, a 102-place service located in the heart of regional NSW. If you enjoy preparing nutritious meals for children and want to be part of a caring and committed team, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

Prepare and serve daily nutritious meals and snacks in line with dietary needs and food safety standards

Plan weekly rotating menus that consider allergies, cultural requirements and seasonal produce

Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen in accordance with HACCP and Busy Bees’ food safety procedures

Manage food supply orders and kitchen stock

Communicate with Centre Director, educators and families regarding dietary needs and menus

What You’ll Need

Certificate in Commercial Cookery or Food Handling/Safety

Previous experience working in a childcare or similar regulated environment (highly regarded)

Understanding of menu planning and allergy management in early childhood settings

Current Working With Children Check (NSW)

First Aid and CPR certifications (preferred)

Strong organisational and time-management skills
