The Byron Bay Services Club is looking for a full-time Duty Manager / Bistro Supervisor to join our team.

We are seeking a highly motivated & experienced individual who has strong leadership & people management skills, remains calm under pressure and has the capacity to manage resources across the bar, bistro, gaming & reception areas – ensuring our patrons have an enjoyable experience.

Being a supervisory role, it is imperative that the successful applicant be a problem solver, have clear communication skills and an understanding of what hospitality is all about, in particular in relation to excellent customer service.

The position is a hands-on position & having a friendly, positive & approachable personality is a must. The role will include FOH rostering for the Clubs bistro and cafe, working with the Club Manager & Head Chef to ensure excellent customer service standards as well as a strong focus on team building, training & motivating staff. The role will also incorporate general Club supervision and responsibility for opening and closing procedures for the Club on occasions.

The position is offered as full-time 38 hour per week position. The Club is mindful of the importance of a work / life balance and a 9 day fortnight can be offered.

We are a team of 40 with a great culture of looking out for and supporting one another. With a full bar, bistro and function operation, TAB, Keno & EGMs we offer plenty of variety in day-to-day work tasks.
