The opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Cafe all rounders/Baristas to join our vibrant team at Macchina Espresso Kingsgrove Pottery' in the heart of Kingsgrove, NSW 2208. As a fulltime member of our hospitality team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee and food offerings.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages to the highest standard

Assisting with food preparation and service, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully

Providing attentive and friendly customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including regular cleaning tasks

Restocking and inventory management to ensure the cafe is well-stocked at all times

Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an exceptional cafe experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience 1-2 years as a barista or in a similar cafe/restaurant role

Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of coffee preparation and a keen interest in the art of coffee making

A team-player mentality and the ability to work collaboratively

A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude

Running food and drinks and clearing tables, load the dish and glass washers

Flexible and focused to help in other areas of the cafe as and when required
