Chef

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated experienced Chef who has a genuine passion for food. You will provide leadership to an enthusiastic brigade aiming for continued excellence in high quality, well presented and delicious food.

About the role:

• Ensuring the safe provision of food as per documented food safety plan
• Hands on support and guidance to the food service staff
• Demonstrated understanding of accreditation standards, WH&S management, rostering, staffing, stock ordering and function coordinating
• Lead by example in a professional, considerate and pleasant demeanour to all stakeholders
• Role model to peers and maintains positive staff morale through effective teamwork
• High personal standards at all times

About you:

• Commercial Cooking certificate
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Diversified commercial volume cooking and fine dining experience
• Must be proactive, flexible, lateral, creative and dynamic
• Superior communication skills
• Exemplary customer service
