About the role

The Cook Chill Head Chef performs various daily duties within the Cook Chill Kitchen. Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Head Chef will lead and develop the kitchen staff in day-to-day operations of the Cook Chill Kitchen including hands on food production, quality control, food safety, hygiene, food wastage, stock control, and promote a positive safe work culture.

• Manage & support the efficient operation of the Cook Chill Kitchen.
• Manage the production of high-quality nutritious meals.
• Administer Food Safety in line with Food Safety Plan.
• Actively promote continuous improvement and positive culture in the workplace.

You will have

• Experience in change management and bringing others along for the journey.
• Ability to lead people and prioritise workloads.
• Experience and knowledge in therapeutic diets (IDDSI).
• Experience with budget accountability and cost control.

Fulltime Position for immediate start. Monday to Friday (38-hour week)

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance (paid by us).
