Join a large, well-established not-for-profit Aged Care provider as the Head Chef at their 30-bed facility, where food is more than just a meal — it's a comfort, a joy, and a vital part of care. You'll lead a team dedicated to producing nutritious, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs, cultural backgrounds, and personal preferences.

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and meal service across the home
• Lead, inspire and manage a team of kitchen staff and food service assistants
• Create and review seasonal menus in line with nutrition and dietary guidelines
• Ensure meals meet high standards for taste, texture, presentation and compliance
• Manage kitchen budgets, stock control, food safety and hygiene practices
• Collaborate with clinical and care staff to support residents’ dietary needs

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef (Aged Care or healthcare experience desirable)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent understanding of food safety, allergen management and dietary requirements
• Cert in Hospitality, Commercial Cookery or Similar
• Passion for providing high-quality meals that enhance the lives of others
