This company is seeking a motivated and driven individual with a strong commitment to providing quality training in a supportive and professional manner with an immediate start.
With a well-established clientele and reputation, this RTO delivers workplace based training and due to continued growth, they are now seeking to engage a Trainer to deliver up to Certificate III in Electronics and Communications
You may have been a telecommunications technician, business equipment technician or electronics/communications technology specialist technician and would like to transition your career to train and develop apprentices undertaking training in a trade college in Melbourne.
As a teacher of Electronics & Communications you will provide your professional teaching and vocational expertise, across all aspects of delivery, planning and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for learners, the organisations that employ them and the communities they serve.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners
Develop and deliver planned teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, using technology, including Moodle, to engage learners and meet their needs and learning styles
Design and develop high quality teaching and learning resources including tailored materials in a range of formats to suit varying learning styles
Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements
Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
Engage with employers and industry representatives to adapt teaching materials and content to meet industry and employer needs and are current
Proactively support the effective use of Institute learning resources and meet student needs by increasing the use of blended learning options, workplace or offsite delivery and mobile technologies
The ideal person for this role will have the following skills and experience:
* Enrolled in, or completed Certificate IV in Workplace Training/TAE prior to starting in the role.
* Prior experience working with apprentices is desirable but not essential
* The ability to work with students from various background
Had experience in roles that covered competencies on how to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electronic equipment and devices at component/sub-assembly level with options in communications, audio, video and TV, personal computer and networks, security and custom installations.
