About the Role

Are you an experienced tiling professional ready to inspire the next generation? Austra', a trusted provider of vocational education and training, is seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling to students in a hands-on and supportive environment.

This part-time opportunity (20 hours/week) is ideal for someone passionate about quality training and industry standards, with flexibility to balance work and lifestyle.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering engaging, practical, and compliant training sessions in tiling

Assessing student competencies and providing timely, constructive feedback

Maintaining accurate training records and student progress documentation

Supporting learners to achieve competency through mentoring and guidance

Ensuring training reflects current industry practices and safety standards

Continuously updating training materials and session plans as required

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must meet the trainer and assessor requirements under the Standards for RTOs :

✔ CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent)
✔ TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or successor)
✔ Demonstrated industry experience in wall and floor tiling
✔ Commitment to ongoing VET professional development
✔ Ability to maintain compliance documentation (Trainer Matrix, PD log)
✔ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✔ Tech-savvy with confidence using digital learning systems
