Trainer & Assessor – CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability)

Challenge Employment & Training (CET) is a Not for Profit RTO with a well established reputation throughout Qld. CET delivers funded training under User Choice to Australian apprentices and Trainees, Certificate 3 Guarantee (C3G) and Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW).

We are currently looking for suitably qualified trainers and assessors to deliver CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) for upcoming SQW and C3G programs. - Ability to deliver in flexible models using online platforms face-to-face delivery 4 days a week.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor) or options noted in the Standards for RTO's

Relevant vocational qualifications - preferred Certificate III in Individual Support background and/or experience in delivering it including electives in Ageing and Disability.

The ability to train and assess HLTAID011 - Provide first aid would be highly regarded

Sound understanding of the Community Services Industry in Aged Care and Disability

Proven recent and relevant industry experience

Duties will include:

Facilitating delivery and assessment to broad range of cohorts

Planning and preparation, including developing/modifying training & assessment resources

Using range of adult and youth learning strategies to engage

Marking and submission of student assessments in a timely fashion

Sourcing work placement opportunities for students

Maintaining student records of training and competencies achieved

Build and maintain community client/industry relationships

Evaluating programs, moderation and validation where/when required

Contributing to Challenge's mission

Assist in the recruitment to fill the program
