About the role

We are seeking a talented Accountant to join our dynamic team at Yipose Trading Company Pty Ltd in Silverwater, NSW. As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial operations of the company. What you'll be doing

Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports

Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations

Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections

Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making

Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Performing month-end and year-end closing activities

Liaising with external auditors and tax authorities as required

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the Accounting industry

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance

Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
