Finance Director role in a highly regarded and rapidly growing business

Temporary to permanent position with a high-growth retail business

5 days a week in their Parramatta office, paying up to $1000/day + Super

The Company

Our client is an Australian retail business with an impressive track record of growth and a pioneer in its industry. After a sustained period of strong growth, they are looking to add a talented Finance Director to the team to help them scale into the future.

The Role

This role will be hired on a temporary basis initially, with a view to permanency within a 3–6-month period. This Finance Director will play an invaluable and business-critical role as the business continues to expand both locally and globally.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Lead and mentor the finance team

Financial reporting

Management reporting including budgeting and forecasting

Board reporting and presentation

Tax and compliance

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with a history of leading teams through periods of high growth.

You could be either an experienced Finance Director, a talented Financial Controller or a Head of Finance looking for a step up; this role will evolve into a CFO position as the business continues to grow.

While team leadership experience is vital, our client is seeking a dynamic, hands-on operator who will not be afraid to get into the trenches with their colleagues. Prior experience in mid-sized product-based businesses will be highly regarded, but non-essential.
