We’re looking for a driven, dynamic thinker to drive real change through sport as our Sports Equity and Inclusion Project Officer.

About the Opportunity
Lead the groundbreaking ‘Gendering in a New Era in Sport’ project, build stronger, more inclusive sporting communities, and drive equity across Mildura’s recreation spaces. Be part of something powerful—where sport becomes a catalyst for positive social change!

What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as community development, sport and recreation management, health promotion, social work, psychology, education or human service provision and/or significant demonstrated knowledge and experience.

- Experience in community-based project management.

- Well-developed facilitation, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.

- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.

- Hold a current Employee working With Children Check or willing to obtain one prior.

- Current Drivers License.


Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $47.37 to $51.57 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
