About the Opportunity
The role involves delivering professional customer service to visitors, customers, and users of the Mildura Arts Centre. Responsibilities include being the first point of contact for the public, providing various services such as theatre attendance, customer and admin support, assisting with Vista Café Bar operations, addressing general inquiries, offering necessary support, and managing information distribution.

What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

- Demonstrated experience in Customer Service, Events and/or Hospitality Industry with a strong interest in events / arts.

- High standard of verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to liaise confidently with members of the public and members of staff.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the accurate operation of various computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management Software and Electronic Document Management Systems.

- Demonstrated appreciation of need for confidentiality and discretion.

- Experience in cash handling, bank reconciliation, stock reconciliation, and in the use of computerised receipting systems.

- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check and Working With Children’s Check or be willing to obtain one.

- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (VIC) certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $35.7345 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
