We are seeking a committed and compassionate Senior Customer Service Liaison Officer (CSLO) to join our Community Services team. In this vital frontline role, you’ll connect people to therapeutic counselling and community services through a trauma-informed, respectful, and empowering approach.
We’re looking for someone to join the team Part Time (0.5 FTE) on a Fixed Term (6 Months) basis.
About the Role
As the Senior CSLO, you will provide high-quality customer service, intake support, referral coordination, and administrative assistance to ensure smooth service delivery across our Therapeutic Counselling Services (TCS) and wider Community Services programs. You’ll also contribute to system improvements, staff support, and the coordination of service activities, helping to shape a welcoming and efficient environment for all service users.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver responsive and confidential, customer service across intake, enquiry, referral, and appointment booking processes.
Provide high-quality front desk and reception support.
Maintain and improve operational systems (e.g., key registers, WHS inspections, site procedures).
Support team activities such as research projects, audits, events, meetings, and training initiatives.
Manage service calendars, bookings, room scheduling, and client communications efficiently.
Collaborate with Senior Practitioners and Service Managers to ensure service excellence and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you have:
A strong background in customer service, particularly within community services, health, or therapeutic settings.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with people impacted by trauma.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
High level of initiative, confidentiality, and sound judgement.
Experience in managing diaries, booking systems, and general administration support.
