Position: Customer Service Officer - QUU

Location: Fortitude Valley

Employment Type: Mon – Fri, 38 hrs a week until June 2025 with possibility of extension

Payrate: $38 - $43/hr + super

Maxima is currently seeking various highly motivated individuals as a Customer Service Officer for one of our government clients.

As a Customer Service Officer reporting to the Manager, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life for our customers. Your primary focus will be investigating and resolving customer requests for concealed leak remissions, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes while providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and decision concealed leak remission applications using Urban Utilities’ policies and matrix.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, keeping customers informed, valued, and confident throughout the process.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve fair resolutions.
• Manage cases efficiently through CRM systems, prioritizing productivity and quality.
• Build strong relationships across the organization to drive customer-centric outcomes.
• Share insights and feedback to support team learning and consistent service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7-12 months’ experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in case management or enquiry resolution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to navigate customer challenges and negotiate within delegated authority.
• Experience working within established procedures to deliver balanced decisions.
