About the role

Broadmeadow Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy medical centre. As the Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our healthcare team can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This full-time position is based in Broadmeadow, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Manage and supervise the administrative staff, including rostering, training, and performance management

Oversee the reception, billing, and appointment scheduling systems to optimise workflow and patient experience

Ensure compliance with all relevant medical, workplace, and maintain accreditation

Liaise with healthcare providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support the centre's operations

Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

Introduce and optimise systems to streamline operations, including rostering and debt collection systems

Assist the clinical team with administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for

Experience in a practice management or similar role

Strong understanding of medical practice operations, regulations, and accreditation requirements

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

A willingness to pick up the phone and drive business opportunities

Proficient in using medical software and standard office applications

Ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team and lead a staff of administrative professionals

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
