About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an exceptional Practice Manager to join our team for a 12-month parental leave cover. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values purposeful work, and brings a strong sense of initiative and accountability.

As Practice Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our centre and leading a passionate multidisciplinary team. You’ll help drive the growth of our integrated model of care, while ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality, client-focused services.

In this role, you will:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery Monday to Friday.

Lead and support a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, including contractors and GPs.

Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow our model of care and enhance the client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure effective workflows, operational efficiency, and compliance across all systems and processes.

Build and nurture relationships with GP clinics and other key referrers through regular outreach and engagement.

Champion a strong client focus by enhancing the client journey and care outcomes.

Identify service gaps, co-design tailored care packages, recruit and onboard appropriate contractors.

Collaborate across internal teams to support service integration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS), private health billing, DVA, and GP Management Plans.

Proven experience in referrer engagement and stakeholder relationship building.

A passion for improving client outcomes, paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Leadership experience in a healthcare or allied health setting is highly desirable.

The Successful Candidate

A minimum 3 - 5 years of practice management experience with proven leadership and management experience

Qualification in Diploma of Practice Management preferred

A passion for delivering exceptional client care

Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills

Outstanding communication and customer service skills

Experience in administration roles where problem solving skills are required

Knowledge of GPMPs, Medicare, DVA, and Private Health Fund Claims through HICAPS

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and practice management systems, ideally PracSuite
