The Day-to-Day

• Managing end-to-end secured recoveries and mortgage enforcement files
  
  
• Interpreting instructions, opening new matters, and progressing files efficiently
  
  
• Drafting legal documents including Statements of Claim, Default Judgments, Deeds, and Contracts
  
  
• Preparing formal and informal correspondence with clients and third parties
  
  
• Liaising directly with borrowers, legal reps, agents, and financial institutions
  
  
• Conducting property, bankruptcy, and company searches
  
  
• Tracking critical deadlines and ensuring compliance with client and legislative requirements
  
  
• Escalating risks and keeping the legal team updated with key file developments
  
  
• Using internal platforms to maintain accurate records and manage workflow
  
  
• Assisting with scheduling, diary management, and broader team coordination
  
  

Your Experience

• 2+ years in Recoveries, Litigation or Commercial legal support, with solid ability and knowledge to support in all facets of the practice area
• Expertise managing files independently
  
  
• Strong drafting and stakeholder communication skills
  
  
• Detail-driven with excellent time management
  
  
• A calm, clear approach under pressure
  
  
• Familiarity with Aderant, iManage and similar systems
