Due to our steady growth, we are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team to deliver excellent service, innovative solutions, and seamless operations to our clients.
Role Overview:
Based in Adelaide, the Operations Coordinator will play a central role in ensuring the smooth operation of VRents’ fleet across Australia. This position involves customer service, monitoring equipment, coordinating logistics, supporting branches, and contributing to the ongoing development of operational systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and an agile problem-solver with a customer-first mindset and a strong aptitude for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service through timely, accurate responses to enquiries.
Prepare and issue hire quotations for clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with pricing guidelines.
Provide sales support by assisting clients with product selection, availability queries, and general information.
Monitor and manage VRents’ fleet of machines across multiple locations nationwide.
Coordinate equipment scheduling, dispatching, servicing, and logistics support.
Assist with the ongoing development, testing, and optimisation of VRents’ rental management platform.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the rental systems.
Collaborate with suppliers, transport providers, and service teams as required.
What You’ll Bring:
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Clear, professional communication skills - both written and verbal.
A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong aptitude for technology, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and contribute to their improvement.
Experience in equipment hire, rental services, or operations (preferred).
Technical skills (preferred).
Familiarity with fleet or rental management systems (desirable but not essential).
