About the role

Reporting to the director, this full-time Operational Manager role at SHY Rehab' offers an excellent opportunity to oversee the day-to-day operations at our prestigious rehabilitation clinics in Queensland. As Operational Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality exercise physiology and occupational therapy services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the clinic's administrative functions, including staff scheduling, client bookings, and inventory management

Oversee the implementation of operational policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of service delivery

Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and address operational challenges, ensuring a seamless patient experience

Manage and develop a team of administrative and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement

Contribute to the development and execution of the clinic's strategic business plans

Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar operational management role within the healthcare or rehabilitation services industry

Strong understanding of NDIS and Aged Care service delivery, with the ability to bridge the gap between clinical and operational functions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, clinicians, and support staff

Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution

Internal audit

Proficient in the use of relevant healthcare management software and technologies

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as healthcare administration or business management
