About the Role

As a junior tiling and waterproofing estimator at Arena Tiles, you will play a crucial role in the estimating process for our construction projects. This full-time position is based in Warners Bay, NSW, and will involve working collaboratively with our Managing Director and Showroom Specialists to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for our clients.

What you will be doing

- Prepare detailed take offs and estimates for a variety of commercial projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

- Assist with the tendering and bidding process, including the collection and review of documentation and product supply options to support competitive proposals.

- Liase with the Managing Director, subcontractors and suppliers to gather and validate cost information.

- Maintain and update project records, including budgets, schedules and documentation.

- Provide administrative support for project management activities, such as cost tracking, supply tracking and project documentation.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.

We are looking for a motivated person that has a positive attitude, can work well in a small team, and shares our values. Assisting the Managing Director in creating take offs, contract reviews and tender proposals for several commercial and high-end residential projects; the ideal applicant will collaborate closely with him and other operational staff. This individual will also coordinate with the team to help with procurement and project coordination.
