About the position:

Adept Fire Protection Services has recently secured multiple large commercial and residential contracts. We are looking for an junior fire services estimator to join our growing estimating team. The role will require the successful applicant to work closely with out estimating manager and other members of our estimating team to continue the successful securing of projects for our wet and dry fire team.

Your duties will include:

Collaborate with your manager to prepare accurate tender estimates in Measure Square/RFMS.

Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Subcontractors and Suppliers.

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to request quotes and gather pricing information.

Assist in estimating project quantities and costs, identifying tender schedule discrepancies and ensure timely estimate completion.

Maintain accurate records of correspondence, calculations, and methodologies for tenders.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels

Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project
