We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in data consulting to join our team and help us forge meaningful, lasting relationships with our clients, while driving new business and acquiring new logos to expand our client base.

Key Responsibilities

Cultivate and sustain long-term partnerships with enterprise clients, ensuring their ongoing success with our data consulting services

Drive new business by identifying, prospecting, and securing new logos, expanding our reach in the market

Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and expand service offerings within existing accounts

Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand client needs and ensure the delivery of solutions that align with their business objectives

Manage contract negotiations and provide exceptional client service through proactive communication and problem-solving

Monitor client performance, offering data-driven recommendations to optimise the value they derive from our services

Identify and act on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services, staying ahead of trends in the data consulting space

Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in business development or account management, with a minimum of 2 years in data consulting or technology services

Strong understanding of data platforms, data management, and modern data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Tableau)

Proven ability to manage multiple enterprise-level accounts, drive new business, and build lasting, impactful relationships

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

Analytical mindset with the ability to devise data-driven solutions for client challenges

A strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a consultative sales environment.
