This role is a permanent and full-time role and will be based out of our Carole Park warehouse in Brisbane. This is an onsite role with no hybrid working system.
Purpose of the role:
The Inventory and Production Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely coordination of production activities with our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and managing stock and material flow. This role is integral to maintaining smooth operations within the production process and supporting Abbey’s supply chain requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to-
Coordinate and monitor stock arrivals for raw materials and packaging, ensure accurate receipt of materials from suppliers. Coordinate production schedules to meet Abbey’s product demand.
Responsible for generation and creating of transfer documents of Bom-kit and ensuring all necessary components are ready for production.
Liaise with warehouse to ensure Bom-kits are picked and dispatched as well as liaise with CMOs to ensure the schedule is on track and Bom kits received and ensure manufacturing occurs in line with schedule.
Build inventory records in JIWA/Microsoft Dynamics ERP system based on batch and release documents received from CMOs. Responsible for entering production related changes as invoiced by the CMOs.
Manage consumption records and process material returns from CMOs after production completion.
Arrange and monitor the transfer of finished goods from CMOs to Abbey’s warehouses.
Responsible for generating pick lists and work orders. Ensure inventory movements are accurately recorded in the JIWA system. Generate and maintain accurate documentation for production-related activities, including material transfers, consumption records, and stock movements.
Provide reports on stock levels and production outputs.
Coordinate and work closely with Abbey’s Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure production processes and materials meet required GMP standards.
Act as the point of contact between Abbey and CMOs, ensuring smooth communication regarding production schedules, material requirements, and stock movements.
Liaise with different teams like Regulatory team, QA, Warehouse managers. Liaise with Pharmavet, our manufacturing business to close out production orders.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve production and inventory issues promptly.
Adhoc projects as requested by management.
Experience and Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Production Engineering is preferrable
The candidate should have at least 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment with exposure to inventory role.
Proven experience in inventory control, or warehouse management.
Core Behavioural Competencies:
Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.

Proven results in inventory control and large-scale physical stocktakes.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
