REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Primary Purpose
Forming part of a dynamic sales team, the Sales Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative and client support across the sales and delivery lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
Co-ordinating the day-to-day administration requirements of the Sales and Production teams including:
Sales documentation, including invoicing, delivery dockets and equipment transfers
Completion of dispatch load sheets
Utilizing various customer portals to complete dispatch paperwork
Evaluate the morning stock-take report
Printing of crate & pallet labels
Assist in the management of wholesale clients
Other administrative duties as directed from time to time such as reconciliation of invoices and equipment transfers
Export & production scheduling
Key Position Accountabilities
Maintain regular communication with key personnel ensuring all are kept updated with the day’s progress including
Purchase order changes
Transportation / dispatch timings
Develop and maintain constructive and co-operative working relations with key business stakeholders and clients.
Assist in the investigation and rectifying of enquiries relating, but not limited to invoicing, dispatch & delivery differences and customer complaints
Timely completion of dispatch paperwork for the logistics team
Qualifications & Experience
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate computer skills
Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office product is required
Reckon Accounts software knowledge preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role supporting accounts and administration team
Relevant experience working with accounting software
Experience working in a FMCG or fresh produce industry advantageous
Well-rounded generalist experience working in business support & administrative operations
