Your part in our Lifeline team
We are looking for someone to join our team who is motivated in achieving /exceeding SALES Targets and being part of a team that strives for excellence in supporting our shops. As our Rag Sales & Administration Officer, your mission will be to drive the successful operation, performance & profitability of Rag Sales.
You will also contribute to the operational team activities through providing administrative support services, ensuring a premium consumer experience and driving business results to grow Lifeline as an essential service.
Provide administrative and accounts support which require a high degree of judgement, confidentiality and sensitivity in the performance of the work and which directly support the division. Provide exceptional customer service including greeting clients and maintaining a welcoming and tidy reception. Undertake a range of reception duties including the delivery of high standard customer service to both external and internal customers including but not limited to:

To be successful in this role, we will be looking for the following skills and attributes:
Reception ie greeting visitors , answering, screening and forwarding calls
Scheduling appointments, organise events, functions, workshops and meetings when required
Processing incoming/outgoing mail
Maintenance, storage & distribution of consumables and stationary
Support with Kitchen duties
Ensure the building is secure including maintaining a visitor’s register
Prepare reports and other documentation using Microsoft Office and/or other business software, along with the maintenance of databases and other recording/information systems
Support our retail stores with the production of tickets and sundry administration needs
Assist with financial duties including processing invoices, receipts, and administering petty cash when required
Liaise with external providers and suppliers; stationery, IT, facilities for proactive practice support for employees/volunteers including but not limited to:
Ensuring related data is accurate and ensures that all records are up to date at all times including learning management and safety and risk systems
Support employee recruitment on boarding processes
Work within the policies and procedures of UnitingCare Community and the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety and other relevant Legislation, including support for injured workers and full participation in return to work plans.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all matters relating to staff, customers, procedures and security
Work with Purchasing and inventory control systems as required
Build, maintain and facilitate Rag Sales including tasks such as:
Achieving Rag Sales Targets
Initiate New client leads
Manage call lists
Taking customer orders
Managing accounts receivable accounts
Undertake other duties as and when directed within the scope of the role and the capabilities of the incumbent and abide by all relevant policies, procedures, standards and legislation as they apply to the position.
